  • Accessible washrooms are on the 2nd floor.

c) Online Catalogue
The library's online catalogue workstations are accessible to persons in wheelchairs.

d) Collection Access
Patrons with disabilities may request the retrieval of library materials from the stacks. Library staff may be able to retrieve materials on demand, but it is recommended that patrons give reasonable notice, either in person or telephone before coming to pick up the materials. Requested items will be held at circulation desks for 24 hours from the time they were requested.

e) Extended Loan Privileges
Patrons with disability may contact the library to apply for extended circulation privileges (Monographs on reserve are excluded).

f) Reference Services
Librarian is available to provide assistance in locating information. Patrons are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance.

g) Photocopy Services
Library photocopy machines are self-service and operate by copy card or cash. Patrons who find it difficult to use the photocopiers may ask library staff for assistance. For staff-made photocopies, it is recommended that patrons call the library in advance. Users in wheelchair can request the library staff to photocopy materials and send them to the Microtext Section, Robarts Library if necessary, for pick up.

h) Emergency Exits
Emergency exits are located on all floors. Users who may need assistance with exiting the building should notify the Circulation/Information Desk's staff of their presence in the building. This is especially important in the evening when there are not many people in the library.
