How to Find Journal Articles

Finding journal articles is a two step process:

1. Look up your topic in a Journal Index. to find out what articles have been written about it
   1. Choose a journal index for your subject
   2. Access indexes from home
   3. Search the index
   4. Is the article full-text online?
   5. Write down the citation
   6. Understanding Journal Title Abbreviations
2. Find the Journal at U of T
   1. Search Library Catalogue for the journal title
   2. Print, download, and e-mail articles
   3. Is the journal scholarly? Evaluate your findings.
