(Tesselated Rattlesnake-plantain)

In partial to full shade in upland or low-lying coniferous or mixed woods, as well as in swamps and heavily wooded portions of bogs. In mesic to wet-mesic duff and moss. Usually blooms in August. Fairly common in Muskoka.
