Epipactis helleborine (L.) Crantz


Usually in partial to full shade in mesic loam beneath hardwoods, especially Sugar Maple and American Beech. Has also been found in gardens, in mixed woods, and in woods dominated by Eastern White Cedar. Blooms in August. Very common in Muskoka.
