Arethusa bulbosa L.

(Arethusa, Dragon's-mouth)

Grows in open wet sedgy areas in sphagnum bogs, often with Tamarack, Grass-pink, Rose Pogonia, White Beak-rush, Cotton-grass, Carex paupercula and Xyris montana. Blooms in early to mid June. Rare in Muskoka.
