The
Muskoka Flora Web Pages have been designed to develop incrementally as
text is completed by the author.
The following is a list of revisions to the Muskoka Flora WWW page:
July 2009 - Updated descriptions of the ROM herbaria, their location, and their staffing. Unfortunately, it's now clear that further updates to this site are unlikely to take place any time in the near future. Becauses of changes at the U of T Library website the Search button no longer works. Please note that the Project page has not been updated, and still contains outdated references to the former Botany departments of the ROM and the University of Toronto.
- November 1998 - Images
of Platanthera lacera and Spiranthes cernua provided
by Karen Garrison and by Ernest and Flavia Redelmeier, respectively. Doug
Snead provided information about the source of the mandrake
logo. Our thanks to all four for their generosity.
- November 1996 - Text on Rhexia virginica L. provided by
Jim Goltz; image of this plant now in JPEG format; the distribution
map and list of Muskoka specimens in TRT will soon follow.
-
July 1996 - This update completes the listing for Muskoka Orchidaceae. Automatically
created several new pages for the new species using the revised updating
program and new data files supplied by Jim Goltz. Ensured that the pages
now had the correct links back to the proper authorities, images, etc.
Updated the bibliography and the links to it. They will now refer you to
the correct locationin the bibliography.
-
31 October 1995 - Added this page, and corrected the connections
between the species page, the pages for Arethusa bulbosa, Calopogon
tuberosus, Coeloglossum viride, and the corresponding maps,
thanks to a message from Wasyl Bakowsky.
-
27 October 1995 - Corrected the "Say what?" button's path on the
search page; pointed out by A. Pavacic. Corrected the affinity of
the Isoetaceae (Lycopsida, not Pteropsida), thanks to a message from Brian
R. Speer.
