1997 STUDENTS RESEARCH DAY
Each year early in January, Faculty of Medicine undergraduate students have an opportunity to display the results of their research endeavors in abstract and poster form at the Annual Students Research Day. The posters presented highlight a variety of research, from basic molecular biology to clinical outcomes and community health. Communicating one's work at a scientific meeting amongst peers is important in that it is a final step in conducting research which begins with the initial concept followed by actualization. Students are strongly encouraged to discuss plans for submitting an abstract for 1997's meeting with their supervisor. It is important to have this in mind early on, in order to plan for abstract submission in the Fall. If you have any questions please contact: Tom Ransom (9T8) e-mail: thomas.ransom@utoronto.ca

At its meeting of May 10, 1996, the CMPA, in response to widespread concern expressed by members of the Association, voted to cancel that decision and reinstate Type of Work code 14 PGY Trainees with moonlighting.
