General Information

I am cross appointed between the Digitial Library and Web Services Group in Information Technology Services and the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library.

Projects I am involved fall into three categories:

• Library web applications including my.library, my.alerts, my.access (revised all e-resources URLs in Sirsi from vender to EIR), staff intranet, staff directory, carrel & locker application (Robarts Library)Women's Human Rights Resources, WHRR, EAL Web Library and Gateway East Asian Studies etc.
  
  
• Library systems, I spend lots time on the Sirsi system, to load data and export data, correct things in Sirsi which relate to catalogue records, item records, call number records, holding records and serials control etc. I help maintain the synchronization between e-resources database and Sirsi database so users can find e-resources and paper resources with one search.
  
  
• Teaching and learning programs, including online course registration system which is used by library staff development committee and some faculty and students for none credit courses.
  
  East Asian Studies Internet Courseware, EASIC which is used by East Asian Studies courses as well as a Bulk loader used to load and archive old exams in ERES and other systems.
