Network Services

Network Services is responsible for the hardware, administration, & security of 7 networks on campus, 40+ servers (Windows NT/2000 and Linux), 16 Terabytes (16,000 Gigabytes) network storage system, and 2 firewalls. The development & maintenance of these systems is critical to the smooth operation of the Library’s vast array of electronic resources & services. Network Services also works with Operations & Technical Support staff to administer 350+ staff and 150+ public workstations.
