Introduction to Evidence-Based Medicine
An excellent, well-illustrated tutorial developed by Duke University Medical Center Library and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Health Science Library. It guides you through the complete process of EBM, with an emphasis on the elements of a well-built clinical question, and the key issues that help determine the validity of evidence.

Evidence Based Clinical Practice Tutorial

This tutorial developed by the Edward G. Miner Library at the University of Rochester Medical Center takes you through the steps for building better information seeking skills into evidence based clinical practice. The last step of the tutorial on filtering for evidence is tailored to the Ovid databases available at the Miner Library, and do not necessarily work on the U of T databases.

Evidence Based Medicine: Finding the Best Clinical Literature

From the Library of the Health Sciences-Peoria, University of Illinois at Chicago, a guide designed to assist health care professionals and students become effective and efficient users of the medical literature. It offers some useful links, as well as a useful discussion of levels of evidence in medical literature.


Evidence Based Medicine Tool Kit

This University of Alberta web site provides readymade worksheets that can be printed and filled out when evaluating articles, reviews, and guidelines. They are based on the Users' Guides of the Evidence Based Medicine Working Group. Check the Table of Contents.
