Did you know that the Library now
licenses high quality medical content for handheld
computers? Right now, faculty and students who own
a Pocket PC or Palm handheld computer can download
and install outstanding products,
including:
- Clinical Evidence, a high quality database
of evidence-based information on more than 200 diseases
and conditions
- Micromedex Healthcare Series, a highly
rated package of drug and related information
In addition, the library is now linking
to selected sources of medical freeware, including
calculators, decision tools, and MD on Tap,
a handheld application that retrieves MEDLINE citations
to your PDA through a wireless connection to the Internet.
