an@tomy.tv
is an online 3D display of human anatomy: head
& neck, shoulder, hand, thorax & abdomen,
hip, knee, and foot. It provides fine detail of each
anatomical structure including surface anatomy, cutaneous
distribution and nerves and arteries. Common pathologies
and radiological content are also included. Images
can be magnified, rotated, labeled or unlabeled, and
printed, saved or emailed. Text describing the chosen
view is provided in a split-screen configuration.
Parts of the database can be downloaded to a pocket
PC. an@tomy.tv
also provides interactive quizzes and multiple choice
questions. Licensed in conjunction with the Consortium
of Academic Ontario Health Libraries (COAHL), an@tomy.tv
is available via remote access to all students and
faculty at Ontario universities with faculties of
medicine: Lakehead/Laurentian, McMaster, Ottawa, Queen's,
Toronto, and Western.
