Leslie Weir, University Librarian, University of Ottawa
Leslie Weir became University Librarian at the University of Ottawa in January 2003 after acting in the position for a year. In May 2010, she will become the Chair of the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL). Ms. Weir has also chaired the Scholars Portal Operations and Development Committee, which is the group charged by the Council of Ontario University Libraries with the implementation of its Scholars Portal, and its predecessor committee since the inception of Scholars Portal In July 2002.

Snøhetta has worked with a wide range of library projects around the world, from the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt to smaller library projects around the world such as the Sadje project for the Samí people of northern Europe.
