About the Conference

Conference Theme
The 2007 Conference Theme is "Libraries and Student Engagement". Libraries are an integral part of the experience students have in the pursuit of their academic goals. The 3rd Annual University of Toronto Library Staff Conference will focus on how library staff enhance the student experience in the rapidly changing intellectual landscape of our universities.


Proposals
Proposals will be accepted online through the conference website beginning in January 2007. The deadline for proposals is January 31st, 2007.


Date and Location
The conference will take place at St. Michael's College, University of Toronto on Tuesday, May 8th, 2007 and will include lunch, refreshments and a post-conference wine reception. The conference is free to attend and open to all appointed staff who work in the University of Toronto, York and Ryerson library systems. There are limited spaces so ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.


All plenary sessions and workshops will be held in Alumni Hall and Carr Hall, St. Michael's College. The lunch and reception will be held in Father Madden Hall (in Carr Hall).
