Sandy Shreve was born in 1950, in Matane, Quebec, Canada. She was raised in Sackville, New Brunswick, and has a B.A. (Canadian History) from the University of New Brunswick, 1973.
Presently a resident of Vancouver, B.C., she also lived in Fredericton, NB; Halifax, NS; Victoria, BC and Bardou, France.
Now retired, she has worked as a communications manager, student advisor and conference organiser, secretary, library assistant and reporter. Sandy Shreve has published several books of poetry, including Belonging (1997), and Suddenly, So Much (2005). She has also published extensively in Anthologies and journals.
