Invited to present a paper entitled " De fontibus Salvatoris: Baptism and Representations of the Childhood of Christ" at Princeton University in a conference about "Objects and Furniture in the Service of the Liturgy" organized by the Index of Christian Art. July 13-16, 1998. Organized a session for the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds in England entitled Iconographic Studies: Medieval Art and Liturgy I presented a paper entitled "Problems of Interpretation: The Representation of the Baptismal Ritual on Medieval Works of Art". Two other participants, Dr. Rose Walker from the Courtauld Institute and Dr. L. Rutchik from Chapel Hill in North Carolina,USA gave papers in the session.
July 8-11 1996. Organized a session for the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds in England entitled "Studies in Art History: Questions of Migration, Transformations and Influence in Medieval Spain and Scandinavia". Axel Bolvig and S.Kaspersen from the University of Copenhagen and Rocio Sanchez-Ameijeiras from the University of Santiago in Spain participated.
July 1995. Organized a session for the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds in England entitled "Studies in Art History: Gotland in the Middle Ages". Lars Berggren from Lund University contributed a paper on Gotland Fonts. I presented a paper entitled, "Changing Perceptions of Mary and Joseph's Spiritual Union in a Thirteenth Century Missal from Spain."
March and May 1993. "The Aakirkeby Baptismal Font" paper presented at the Thirteenth Annual Conference for Canadian Medieval Art Historians, Laval University, Quebec on March 4th, 1993 and the International Congress on Medieval Studies, Kalamazoo, University of Michigan, May 7th, 1993.
